One mic. Four tiny snares. One massive wooden room.
This pack was recorded years ago in a large wooden space with a warm, natural reverb that blooms and decays just right — the wood around the room catches every hit and lets it go clean. The contrast between the size of the space and the intimacy of the material is something you can actually feel in the grooves.
The kit runs a 16" kick with an open, massive sound, two hi-hats, and four small snares — a 10", an 8", and two 6". The snares lead the way, and they do it loud. What comes out is bouncy, melodic grooves that pop and dance through the air like musical popcorn mid-explosion.
Recorded with a single mic, this one is a bit of a bootleg. Rare, niche, and unapologetically itself.
